Cast Iron Air Operated Steam Trap BX2 BX2A Series The cast iron BX2 series air operated steam trap, a float-type air trap, consists of a float, lever, and valve seat. Designed with a malleable cast iron body, it is suitable for medium to low pressure applications.

Product Features:
The float-type air trap is composed of a float, lever, and valve seat. Its malleable cast iron body design makes it suitable for medium to low pressure. Components are made of stainless steel for wear and corrosion resistance. The float-type air trap is only suitable for draining water in oil-free air compressor tanks or pipelines, as oil floating on water can block the valve seat and prevent drainage. The balance line opening must be connected to the downstream pipeline; otherwise, air locking may occur, hindering drainage.
The valve seat is sealed in water, preventing air leakage. A front-end filter is required. It has a large volume and is not frost-resistant. Installation must be level without tilting. Replaceable parts are available. The entire product series comes with a two-year warranty.
